FAQ
Do I need an account?
The extension requires no account and has no backend server. Reading this site needs no login either. Writing a post on the boards does require a Google sign-in.
Where do my conversations go?
Nowhere. Your conversations never leave the browser — the extension transmits no prompts, replies, or page content. Its only outbound request reads a post from the Recipes board (a post id, no credentials, no conversation data). The Whips and settings you build stay in this browser. The developers never receive, see, or store your data. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Which sites does it work on?
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and Perplexity. The extension does not run anywhere else, and it does not read your other tabs.
Which browser do I need?
A desktop Chromium browser — Chrome or Edge. The panel sits on top of the chat page and works across several tabs, so it does not run on mobile browsers, which have no extensions. Firefox and Safari are not supported.
Does it cost anything?
It is free, and there are no plans to monetize it.
How do I give a Whip to someone else?
Lock a WhipSet, export it, and you get a long string starting with ww2.. It is a string rather
than an upload, so it travels anywhere you can paste. The recipient opens the WhipSet list, pastes
it into 📥 Import, and sees a preview of what is arriving before accepting it.
Is a string someone sent me safe?
The receiving side checks it, and this site checks it again. A set that tries to smuggle code in as a value does not get through. You are also always shown the contents first — there is no path that accepts something you have not seen.
What if a chat site changes its UI?
Usually the extension absorbs it. A large change can throw things off for a while, and when it does only the affected service is impacted. There is nothing for you to do but wait for the extension to catch up.
Is a tag just a label?
A tag is the role that conversation plays. Naming it also decides what that conversation is there to do.
What happens to my Whips if I switch browsers or remove the extension?
Removing the extension removes them, and they do not follow you to another browser. Use the export in Settings to keep a backup.
