Terms of Service

WhipWhip ("the extension") is a free browser extension that overlays a control panel on the web chat interfaces of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and Perplexity, letting you build and run reusable "Whip" automations across those chat tabs.

By installing or using the extension, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install it — uninstalling removes the extension and its locally stored data.

The extension is provided as is

WhipWhip is provided free of charge, "as is" and without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with future versions of the chat services it runs on.

What you may do with it

You may use WhipWhip for personal or commercial purposes at no cost. You may not redistribute a modified build as if it were the original, or present it as an official product of any AI provider.

Your responsibilities

• The chat services' own terms apply to you. WhipWhip types into and reads from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and Perplexity on your behalf, exactly as you could by hand. Whatever you send through it is governed by that provider's terms and policies, and you are responsible for complying with them — including any rules on automation.
• You are responsible for what your Whips do. A Whip runs the steps you gave it, in the tabs you point it at. Review an automation before running it on anything that matters.
• You are responsible for your own backups. All state lives locally in your browser (see the Privacy Policy). Clearing browser data, removing the extension, or losing the browser profile deletes it. Use Settings → Export in the extension if you want a copy.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, nor for lost data, lost work, or interrupted service, arising from your use of or inability to use the extension.

No affiliation

WhipWhip is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, or Perplexity. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the services the extension supports.

Changes to the extension and to these terms

The extension may change, and features may be added or removed, without notice. If these terms change, the version and effective date above are updated; continuing to use the extension after that means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law rules.
